In 2026, the Rocca di Vignola will open its doors to the public for free on selected special days, giving everyone the opportunity to visit one of the most iconic sites of the region’s historical and architectural heritage.
The first event will take place on Saturday, March 21, as part of the FAI Spring Days, organized by the Italian Environmental Fund (FAI). The next opening is on Saturday, May 16, for the National Castle Days, held in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Castles. Another free entry day is scheduled for Saturday, September 26, during the European Heritage Days, an initiative aimed at promoting cultural sites across Europe. On Saturday, October 24, the Fortress will participate in the È Cultura festival, promoted by ABI – Italian Banking Association, and ACRI – Association of Foundations and Savings Banks. The last free entry day of the year will be on Saturday, December 19.
Opening hours: 9:30 am–1:30 pm | 3:00 pm–6:30 pm (last entry one hour before closing).
