On Saturday, September 19, the Rocca di Vignola will once again be transformed into an open-air theatre with a special theatrical guided tour led by Roberto Romagnoli, known as Kirtan. This immersive experience combines history, storytelling and live performance, inviting visitors to discover the rooms and hidden secrets preserved within the ancient walls of the fortress.
Three sessions are scheduled throughout the day, at 10:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Visitors will be guided through the Rocca’s rooms, courtyards and walkways along a route that combines historical insights, storytelling and theatrical performances.
The experience will be led by Roberto Romagnoli, known by his stage name Kirtan, a storyteller and educator who has been developing projects for many years aimed at bringing cultural heritage to life through theatre and storytelling. His approach is rooted in the belief that telling history also means making it come alive, accessible and engaging for the audience.
Through this theatrical guided tour, the Rocca di Vignola becomes not simply a place to discover, but a place to experience: a stage where the stones, architecture and stories of the past come to life once again, taking visitors on an original and engaging journey.
