On Saturday, August 29, Rocca di Vignola hosts Journey into the Mystery of the Stones, an exclusive theatrical guided tour led by Roberto Romagnoli, known as Kirtan.
An immersive experience that transforms the fortress into an open-air theatre. History, storytelling and live performance intertwine to offer visitors an original and engaging way to discover the secrets hidden within its ancient walls.
Three tour times are scheduled throughout the day, at 10:30 am, 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Each tour takes participants through the Rocca’s rooms, courtyards and walkways, following a route that combines historical insights into the illustrious Contrari dynasty with storytelling and live theatrical performances.
The narrative will bring to life the characters, events and secrets hidden within the ancient walls, while also offering a unique perspective on the precious Late Gothic details of the Chapel of Uguccione.

The tours are led by Roberto Romagnoli, known by his stage name Kirtan, a storyteller and educator who has spent years developing projects that promote cultural heritage through theatre and storytelling.
His work is rooted in the power of storytelling to make history accessible, engaging and participatory, transforming historic spaces into living experiences that inspire curiosity and emotion.
