On Sunday, May 17, the Rocca di Vignola will be transformed into a “scattered stage” through theatrical guided tours curated by Kirtan, an immersive experience that combines storytelling, history, and live performance within the monumental complex.

Three performances are scheduled throughout the day, at 10:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m., and 5:00 p.m. Each visit offers a special guided route in which historical content intertwines with theatrical moments and storytelling designed to engage the audience and vividly bring the site’s memory to life.

The tours are curated by Roberto Romagnoli, known by his stage name Kirtan, who has been developing projects related to the storytelling of places for years, combining artistic performances, educational activities, and historical outreach initiatives. His work focuses on the ability of theatrical storytelling to make cultural heritage more accessible and engaging, transforming historic spaces into living, participatory experiences.

An event that offers the public the opportunity to discover the Rocca di Vignola in a different way than usual, where history is not merely observed, but is told and interpreted directly in the very spaces where it once unfolded.
