This room probably served the function of <strong>an antechamber to the apartment reserved for the lady<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Today, on the walls are two canvases, formerly housed in the Hall of Rings, depicting the <strong>portrait of Francesco Boncompagni<\/strong>, <strong>archbishop of Naples<\/strong>, and that of <strong>Ugo Boncompagni, father of Giacomo marquis of Vignola from 1577<\/strong>, <strong>future pontiff Gregory XIII<\/strong>.
