From the Hall of the Pavilion there is access to a small room, carved out of the pothole of the Brush Tower. On the walls, a rich variety of trees seems to define the landscape of a lowland forest that serves as a backdrop to a hunting scene with dogs chasing a hare (north wall) and facing each other (east wall), a probable reference to the Contrari surname.
On the ceiling sails can be seen the coat of arms of the House of Ferrara and those of the Rangoni and Campofregoso, families of the two brides of Nicolò and Ambrogio. The heraldic decorations on the ceiling are complemented by the “Pardo” heraldic device and the Contrari coat of arms surmounted by helmet and crest.
