The room adjacent to the Pavilion, the Hall of Coats of Arms, is completely dedicated to the Contrari family. On all the walls is the inquartate coat of arms of the lords of Vignola, charged on a tournament shield, placed within a red roundel and with straps at the head, and surrounded by a garland formed by green wreath of two branches, from which come out alternately red pine cones with leaves and blue and yellow irises.
A large frescoed window opens in the room with plant decorations surrounding, in the upper splay, two opposing putti armed with swords, a probable allusion to the name of the Contrari, while in the jambs other putti seem to move in the void circling with graceful irony.
