The Fortress of Vignola is not only a monument of great historical and artistic value, but also a living place of knowledge, dialogue and growth. Here heritage becomes an opportunity to develop curiosity, critical spirit and awareness, in a fertile encounter between past, present and future.

For the 2025-2026 school year, the Vignola Foundation renews its commitment to the world of education, offering all schools of all levels in the Unione Terre di Castelli the opportunity to participate in dedicated educational visits free of charge.

Every Thursday morning until the end of the school year, schools will be able to access a purpose-built curriculum for children and youth, from kindergarten through secondary school.

The educational experience at the Fortress aims to go beyond a simple guided tour: it becomes a tool for cultural education, active citizenship and respect for heritage as a common good. An opportunity to learn to read history and art not only as a memory of the past, but also as a key to understanding the present and planning for the future.

Useful materials and aids will be made available to support teachers and students to deepen and rework the content that emerged during the visit, so as to prolong and enrich the experience within the classroom as well.
