On Saturday, March 21, 2026, the Rocca di Vignola will open to the public free of charge on the occasion of the FAI Spring Days, a nationwide initiative dedicated to promoting Italy’s historical and cultural heritage.
A special opportunity to freely visit one of the most iconic landmarks of the area and immerse yourself in the history of a complex that, over the centuries, has played a central role in the local community.
During the day, visitors will be able to access the inner courtyard, the rooms on the ground and first floors, and the evocative Cappella Contrari. These spaces, rich in charm, tell the story of the architectural transformations and the life of the Rocca di Vignola over time.
Orari di apertura: 9.30 – 13:30 | 15:00 – 18:30, con ultimo ingresso consentito un’ora prima della chiusura.
The March 21 opening marks the first event in the 2026 calendar of free admission days promoted by the Fondazione di Vignola, designed to offer residents and visitors opportunities to discover and appreciate the local cultural heritage.
The FAI Spring Days involve hundreds of sites across Italy every year, encouraging public participation and promoting awareness of the country’s cultural heritage.
